Hello and Welcome! My name is Simar, the creator of The Disco Ball. Growing up I wasn’t necessarily exposed to the entertainment world. My world was made up of STEM. It was being enforced everywhere and I got my mind wrapped around it as well. It wasn’t until the pandemic hit, that I had found my true passion. I fell in love with theater and film. But again I feel like it wasn't really anybody’s fault that I didn't get to explore my passion before, I just think there weren’t enough opportunities. In my town, out of the many schools here, only a couple have a fine arts program. Of all the schools I went to, only one had a Drama department.

Now in creating The Disco Ball, I hope everyone locally and globally has the opportunity and resources to explore their passion. I hope every person has a chance to truly explore their passions, without running into obstacles.
